The story is about skilled people of four types for benders (people who can bend the four elements – earth, fire, water and air). Each of the bender tribes live in harmony in four different parts of the world when the fire benders decide to show their supremacy by conquering and ruling over the other tribes. When the start their conquest they seem to have conquered a whole lot of the world and stil progressing. When all hope is lost there comes one boy who is set to change the state of affairs. The boy comes from a long line of Air Benders and the last of his kind. the air Benders are considered to be the ones with supreme power as they are considered to master all four elements and become the avatar. But the boy only knows how to bend Air in the beginning then they move on to the Water kingdoms to learn the art of bending Water. The movie goes on to tell whether or not the boy could stop the fire kingdom. The movie being 3D could have been more vivid. The expectations were to much as it was a film from Night Shyamalan. He had always cornered the visuals but may be because this was his first shot at 3D that he couldn’t score the same. A great hats-off to Dev Patel who plays Prince Zuko (an angry prince who wants to capture the air bender in order to get back his honor in his fathers kingdom). His exceptional acting has provided a great deal to this movie. The main character being a boy is apt. Overall the picture has a good flow but dont expect too much of anything cos the film is a film nothing more to say about it.
